SCHOOL OF BYZANTINE AGIOGRAPHY AND PAINTING

Faithful to the Byzantine tradition, our team of hagiographers, led by the hagiographer Aspasia Papazapraidou, paints for churches and individuals throughout Greece and abroad. Our techniques are Cretan, Macedonian and Renaissance, which can be adapted to your needs and requirements.Agiographos.gr is an iconographic house that specializes in the field of hagiography for the last 17 years. Led by Aspasia Papazapraidou, Agiographos.gr consists of experienced and capable hagiographers who can paint according to the needs and requirements of every project. Aspasia Papazapraidou studied at the ‘Panselinos Hagiography School’, with specialist teachers in the field of hagiography, brothers Ioannis and George Sidiropoulos. He was taught the Macedonian and Cretan technique, as well as the process of polished gold.
We recently moved to our new 240sqm space at 143 Papanikolaou Street in Pefka, Thessaloniki. The new space houses the workshop of the School of Hagiography and a Show Room of our works and merchandise, designed by architect Ioannis Nikolaides and the construction company Domus Ergo.
Agiographos.gr undertakes the painting of temples and icons in Greece and abroad. Our works adorn various churches inside and outside Greece, icons, and frescoes painted in high resolution, with faith in the Orthodox Byzantine tradition.
