Description
The area of the Padre Eterno, was not only an important burial ground, dating back to the 6th and 3rd centuries B.C., but it was also a place chosen for building houses and places of worship, used for manufacturing activities, as attested by the kilns and quarries found here, and for the passage of canals and aqueducts in different historical periods covering a particularly wide time span from the protohistoric age to the Middle Ages.
Following the ravine side and passing the area of the Madonna della Stella plateau, the Padre Eterno archaeological area stretches out on the right.
The archaeological area can now be visited freely.
